Core is a class that everyone at New City is encouraged to go through. New City is nine years old and this was a new addition/change to how they were getting new people involved.

The Logo Shape

The New City logo is a top down view of city streets. The green shape symbolizes the growth that people experience while attending. Core takes this shape and that idea and uses this as it’s logo.

The Campaign

Being the new pathway for people at New City, they needed people to understand what it is and why people should want to attend over nine whole weeks with daily work.

I developed two videos and a flyer to help teach people what it is, when it happens and where it happens.

The Work Book

 

The main way people experience Core is by gathering every week for 9 weeks. The workbook is something they actively go through every day of the week leading up to the night they gather. It’s what guides them though all of their learning, it is also what helps jump start conversations at the night sessions. I placed both logos on the front of the book to hint at where the Core bending comes from.
